We got a M&M bag and we had to count up all the M&Ms. I had 16. then we had to count up all the different colours. And then we got to eat it all.

Telling about the coronavirus

I made this during lock down.
I had to write what i would tell my granddaughter about the coronavirus. and convince her.
i liked getting pictures. What I found hard was thinking what to write. What I found easy was writing it when i got the information.

Waiti/fresh water

We had to pick a matariki star and read about it.
I got waiti that means fresh water. I did some rocks and drift wood.
what I liked was drawing it. What was hard was what to think what to write. Easy finding it.

high School

The high school kids came over on Thursdays and did spots/games. and warm ups

We had to race and dribble the ball to the other side.

I enjoined it because I like dribbling and that I can go  much faster than I thought I could.

And if we didn't know how to play the games they would teach us.

My Planet

This is my planet.
We had to make a planet of our own and not copy the real planets.
This was a fun activity.

Proud

1. I felt proud when me and my sister baked a cake by ourselves because we haven't baked a cake by or self. It was a little bit hard because our mum was just sitting there watching us but she did help us with the hot stuff.

2. I felt proud when we adopted a cat from a owner because they were gonna move and they couldn't bring her because she was too old.

We had to colour in part of a circle then take two mirrors and put them on the sides then it was a full circle with a pattern. 

2 Creative writing

She looked down at her hands. Then her feet. Then her clothes. Why was she so small?

Amy had gone to bed that night as a 13-year-old girl, yet in her dream she was tiny again. She had not worn these clothes since she was 2 years old! What was going on?

She had been to this place before, she was certain. It all seemed familiar. Carrying the metal lantern in her fingertips, she waddled slowly through the night, not being able to see further than a few feet in front of her due to the thick wisps of fog that blanketed her vision.

Feeling the warm breeze caress her face, Amy inhaled. The air smelled damp, like it had just finished raining, but she couldn’t remember it having done so. Lanterns, as big as post boxes, swayed in the wind, shedding a feeble, hazy glow across the never-ending blackness.

She shivered. Something was wrong. Surely dreams couldn’t feel this real?

As I kept walking forwards I noticed that the lanterns were getting bigger and bigger. And when I looked up all I could was fog and lanterns on top of me. I was worried if one lantern would Just fall on me and squish me so I was looking up to see if there were any lanterns on top of me. As I I kept walking I went to the edge of the  bridge and looked down. I saw spiky rocks and fog in between them. But then all of a sudden the fog got thicker and I could hardly see anything.

AAAAHHH then my mom woke me up. I was startled.

Guess that was just a dream. Fewwwww. 

We had to finish the storey .
