WALT- Angles
This term we were learning about angles.

The hard bit was learning the names.

The easy bit was making the angles.

I liked doing the slide show.

My monster

WALT- Making a monster
In the past few weeks we were making a monster and describing what the body parts do.

The hard bit was thinking what to write about it.

The easy bit was deciding where to put the body parts on the body. 

I liked my monster because it looks funny.

My next step learning is maybe I could put more body parts on it.

Here's my monster hope you liked it.

How our pick a path went

For the last few weeks we were creating a pick a path story. What we have to do was to chose a genera our group picked horror then we had to pick what fairy tale my group picked red riding hood. A pick a path is a retell of a story. The hard bit was finding all the pictures we needed. Something I would do next time was making it more scary.

Tearm 3 goal refection

My goal is to get silver. My goal is not going so good because I'm sitting with my friends and getting distracted. Next week I will try to meet my goal by not sitting with my friends so I don't get distracted and try to get more done.

WALT-Understand using money

 For the last two weeks we were working on making a bedroom we had 3,000 million dollars to spend . We had a wish list to wish what we want. We got to look around at different shops. And when we were finished finding the stuff we wanted. We got t go on a 3D bedroom makeover.

The hard bit was finding the stuff and keeping track of the money.

The easy bit was putting the stuff in my room.

I liked decorating my room.

The hard bit was finding what the names of the stars and what they mean.
The easy bit was imaging the photos.
I liked about it was doing the back round.

Her mouth turned upside down.

Her eyes were full of tears dripping down her cheek.

 Her hands were tucked behind her back.

Her stomach felt like there was a flood inside.

Her heart felt like it was shattered into a million pieces.

Her feet were stuck together.


I found it hard trying to work out what to do for the feet.
I found easy was the finding something for the eyes.
I liked doing the writing.

Doing gardening

Today we were in the garden with Whaea Eli and Te Hiringa
We planted some seeds my group planted spinach seeds.

She told us how to plant the seeds and how far to push them in.

The small seeds like the spinach you don't push them into to much but the big seeds like the pumpkin seeds you push them in just a little more than the small seeds.

Making a burger

WALT - We where writing instructions to make a burger
Last week Miss Kaye ask us to make instructions to make a burger
Some of the burgers turned out funny because the instructions wern't right and some turned out good because the instructions were right
The hard bit was writing the instruction
The easy bit was imaging the photos onto the writing
I liked was to make the burger
My next step learning is to put more diagrams and fix up the title

The day we had with Cosmin

Today we where with Cosmin the expert of electricity.

He told us all about electricity and how it works.

There are two different currents. A direct current is when it goes the same way and a alternating current is when they go a different way. A currents flow can stop when there's a break in the circuit

Electricity comes from a power station. Are you wondering how to make electricity well it comes from the river and it goes into a tunnel and the tunnel is 1 km long and then arrives at the power station.

Did you know that there is 66000 voltage in one power line. To get the power to the houses it goes under ground up the pole and then into the the green box next to your house.

Here's one thing you can not see,hear,feel electricity unless you touch an electric fence our a electric cable you will get electrocuted so be careful.

Be careful not to over load your power point,don't have a device in the bath with you,don't swim in the pool when there is thunder,don't fly our clime a power pole.

Book week

My favourite activity was lion on the door, the leaves, watching the movie and the assembly when the person told stories.

I was going to dress up as Cinderella but I didn't come to school and I dressed up like that because that's the only costume I have.

Next year can our them be a fairy tail.

Next time I would dress up as nemo.

The hard bit was to choose between harry potter or  Cinderella.

W.A.L.T- the mintie challenge.
My favourite part was eating the mintie.
The hard bit was ripping it to a long piece of mintie wrapper.
The easy bit was measuring it.
Next time I would try to make it longer than it was.

Week 10 Maths DLO

This week we have been learning doubles to one.
I found doubles to one very easy because I practise a lot.

I enjoyed doing different pictures.
This activity was hard because of all the writing.
Next time, I will try to do different strategies, like use emotions in my writing.

Poetry Anthology

I was learning about poems the hardest was the the rap because we had to think of rhyming words and the song is a little bit tricky for me my favourite poem was the friendship one.
